Many. Cortisol is not a stress meter. Non-stress influences include illness and inflammation, pain, alcohol, poorly controlled glucose, sleep disruption and shift work, hydration and urine dilution (no creatinine correction), licorice, and a wide range of medications: inhaled, nasal, topical, injected, and oral glucocorticoids, opioids, oral estrogens and combined hormonal contraception, and others. 

Menstrual-cycle effects on cortisol are real but modest and the published direction is inconsistent; the current app does not adjust for cycle phase. The Mira app asks about sleep, perceived stress, and pain but cannot separate these influences from "stress" on the basis of a urine sample.
