I’m experiencing Bluetooth connection issues and cannot get my app to connect to the device. How can I resolve this?Updated 3 months ago

Sometimes, it might take a few tries to complete the first Bluetooth pairing, but it usually connects smoothly after following these steps:

Ensure Bluetooth Authorization: Please make sure you have authorized Bluetooth access to the Mira App. This is essential for the monitor and app to communicate. Additionally, Bluetooth must be turned on every time you transfer data to the app after testing the monitor.

To check and authorize Bluetooth access:

  • On iPhone: Go to Settings > Mira App > Bluetooth, and ensure Bluetooth access is enabled.
  • On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Mira App > Permissions, and make sure Bluetooth is allowed.
  1. Make sure the monitor screen is on while pairing.
  2. Too many Bluetooth devices around can compete for the signal. Please try again in another room or an isolated area.
  3. After pressing "Connect Mira monitor" on the Mira app, keep an eye on your monitor, as it can take up to 15-20 seconds to connect.
  4. Try to place your phone above, below, and at different distances around the Analyzer while pairing. For some phones, the Bluetooth signal varies with direction and distance.
  5. Make sure "Location" is turned on when pairing if you have a Samsung phone.
  6. If you encounter persistent connection problems, please restart your phone and the monitor, or use the “reset” pinhole located at the back of the Mira monitor and try again.
